Lofoten Harbour, Leknes — Attraction in Vestvågøy

Great place to rent a quality bicycle to go out and explore Lofoten area. No need to go to Leknes or Gravdal. You can do it right after getting off the cruise ship's tender and going inside the souvenir shop. Only 300 NOK or 30 Euro for the day. Be adventurous and get some exercise too! Don't just take the cruise lines overpriced excursions like the other sheep from the ship (all old people). If you can still ride a bike, do it! I myself used it to go to some of the top 10 rated places on TripAdvisor - Haukland Beach, Uttakleiv Beach, Vik Beach and the Mannen Hiking Trail (#'s 1, 2, 9 &10) but you can go see whatever interests you. Purple fireweeds are all over and around the island. 北歐特有的火之草花，學名柳蘭，很好看呈顯紫紅色，此花是草藥，具消炎作用。So many mountains are big and small in between, very changeable! Creating amazing landscape.we took a Princess arranged. After priority boarding on the tender, we arrived the island of gravdal, Leknes port. Bus is waiting there. First stop is Henningsvar after one hour drive. We visit art gallery, watched a very nice shooting film of nature combined with artists works. A very short sightseeing around the gallery, we headed to next stop, Svolvar. Here, we experienced ice bar. heavy and warm coats were prepared by the bar stuffs. We got inside to explore the art works. They are all created by ices. We also tested a cup of cold drink. After 1.5 hours drive, we backed to the ship. Too short time...

Really not much more than a place to get off a cruise ship. There is a small gift shop that gets easily crowded when a ship is in. Glad I got off and grabbed a few pictures, but would not feel as if I missed something if stayed on ship next time. The port is between the two local towns, some people walked it, but honestly probably a little far for your average cruiser and neither town...
