Beautiful mountain pass connecting Myrkdalen to Vik. There is a tunnel and you can see the old road on the side. The whole journey to Vikafjell from either side is beautiful and scenic. Quite a few great viewing spots enroute. There are a few lakes around the are to stop and enjoy your lunch, snack or a coffee.

When you come from Myrkdal towards Vik i Sogn, you have two great viewpoints just before and just after the tunnel. This first one before the tunnel has a sighlty less breathtaking view on the valley than the following one. But its view on the mountains is nicer. Ultimately, you need to visit both.

Wanderung lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Bei schönstem Wetter Aussicht auf die ganze Umgebung. Füße waren nass, die Seele glücklich 🤗 Für Parkplatzgebühr von 60NKr akzeptabel.
