We visited this place on saturday, May 3rd, all the way from Sohar. It took us 1.5 hours, but the map accurately led us here. It was 5 pm but still very hot and sunny. There wasn't abundant water. Waterfall was absent, but the water level of the stream was also low. After you reach the exact spot down the hill, where the water is, there is no smooth way to actually get down in water. Especially if you have little kids with you, it's a bit tricky. We also encountered a snake, which was may be a water snake, the exact place where there is a wall n water falls from there, after which we dared not go in water with kids. Apart from that, there were plenty of small fishes, i mean a lot of them in water. There was a coffee shop(which was closed), and a toilet next to the shop at this spot. We spent an hour taking pictures n looking around, there was just one more family besides us. Overall, the experience was fine. I would personally like going to the beach rather than going here to enjoy water. The neighbourhood, people, mosque, everything was really pretty n peaceful. Reminded me of my old house in birkat al mouz, nizwa. If you plan to visit, then choose the months when there is much water. Attached are some pictures...
