We visited this place on saturday, May 3rd, all the way from Sohar. It took us 1.5 hours, but the map accurately led us here. It was 5 pm but still very hot and sunny. There wasn't abundant water. Waterfall was absent, but the water level of the stream was also low. After you reach the exact spot down the hill, where the water is, there is no smooth way to actually get down in water. Especially if you have little kids with you, it's a bit tricky. We also encountered a snake, which was may be a water snake, the exact place where there is a wall n water falls from there, after which we dared not go in water with kids. Apart from that, there were plenty of small fishes, i mean a lot of them in water. There was a coffee shop(which was closed), and a toilet next to the shop at this spot. We spent an hour taking pictures n looking around, there was just one more family besides us. Overall, the experience was fine. I would personally like going to the beach rather than going here to enjoy water. The neighbourhood, people, mosque, everything was really pretty n peaceful. Reminded me of my old house in birkat al mouz, nizwa. If you plan to visit, then choose the months when there is much water. Attached are some pictures...

I visited during Eid Holidays it’s a Very beautiful point for outing with family and friends and it’s a great place for BBQ.

The view of palm trees 🌴 is amazing and when you go down in the Wadi so you will have a beautiful natural water wadi with beautiful waterfalls points.

This time water was less but during rainy days you will have a beautiful and big waterfall.

Fresh and clean natural water for taking bath and for swimming and for unlimited photography 😊.

It’s a developed tourist paradise , car parking , toilets and stairs to go down in wadi are available. Also small village is next to this wadi where some groceries shop and mosques 🕌 are also available.

There’s a way next to mosque where you can take your car (any type of car ) to down in wadi and enjoy beautiful natural...

What? A natural and must go place, waterfall surrounded by stony hills. Gentle breeze all over, falazes at one side and birds chirping everywhere. Lots of dates trees at both sides have created nice shadows where you can take rest and have parties. Water is cool enough to soothe your body and soul together!

When to go? Very early morning or at evening after 4pm.

Water level? Very low at dry season (Jan to June), but for kidz enough water is available. Very high at Khareef season ( July to Dec), even adults can enjoy.

Titbit? Take extra clothes, waterproof shoes, extra sets of dresses as an arrangements for shower! If luck allows! Take some dry foods, juice and cold drinks.

Request? Please do not throw waste here and there!...
