Jebel hatt Mountain View — Attraction in Al Batinah South Governorate

Camping destination with a serene mountain view !! Drive until the beginning of kachcha Road (way to bilad sayt). That is the best spot. There is a shaded area (hut like structure).Moreover restaurant and toilet is available in Shorfet hotel for a reasonable price.

Accessible even by sedan cars. Lots of caravan stays available in the rocky terrain. We could spot only a couple of hotels - Al Hoota Rest house and Shorfet.

Make sure to fill your fuel tank and also bring food for the night as there are no pumps and fewer coffee shops.

There are no public toilets in the area. Although toilets are available in Moonland coffeeshop and Shorfet hotel. If you prefer camping during Dec-Jan, make sure to carry your winter kit as it is quite chilly.

Stunning Views and Chilly Weather at Jebel Haat

Visited Jebel Haat on 12th February at 6 AM, and it was an incredible experience! The temperature was a freezing 5.1°C, with early morning conditions close to ground frost. This location, perched at an elevation of 2,000 meters above sea level, is perfect for enjoying cool weather and breathtaking scenery.

The drive up involves some mini steep roads and hairpin turns, but normal cars can easily handle it. Make sure to drive all the way to the end of the road to fully enjoy the location.

There’s also a small café at the viewpoint, offering a cozy spot to warm up while soaking in the views. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an escape into nature and cool...
