Rocks Garden — Attraction in Al Wusta Governorate

Well what can say. It is exactly what the name says. A garden full of rocks. Nothing else. At first we were a bit surprised or let’s say disappointed as there is really not more than rocks and you have a lot of rocks every in Oman so seeing an area with rocks is not a shocking nice experience at all. BUT as we were walking through the garden (there is no signed path) it also had something calming and relaxing. And some rocks are somehow quite interesting regarding their shape. Keeping in mind that this place is solely formed by nature over millions of years and letting your imagination create some figures out of the rocks the rock garden has his right to exist. Rock Garden - It Consists of Sand stones and lime stones formed into various shapes ans sizes naturally. The shapes of the rocks are really amazing. This site is located between Duqm Town and Refinery and is easily accessible with a car. The gardens entrance is surrounded by a fence, and admission is free. The best time to go is right before dusk till sunset, when you can see the rocks in all 3 light conditions : Day, Twilight and Night.
