This is a hard place to rate. I give it three stars because I guess it depends on what you want. We visited in November 2023. THIS IS NOT SUGAR DUNES! We were expecting a beautiful little fishing town with white sand beaches. Instead, we got a derelict looking, dirty, rubbish infested fishing town. The beaches were awful/nonexistent. For me it was a waste of time for the long drive it takes. Go somewhere else. Maybe I missed something, but there are no signs to indicate anything of value...

Incroyable endroit, dunes blanches comme du sucre avec une eaux tiède et une plage qui s’étend à perte de vue. Pittoresque, charmant,romantique, étonnant etc sont les qualificatifs de cet endroit. L’accès n’est pas simple, 4x4 obligatoire et conduite sur sable à savoir, la piste y conduisant passe par la plage et les dunes (attention à l’enlisement !!!). Il y a un petit hôtel avec confort mais le restaurant y est moyen. L’accueil est à l’image des omanais c’est à dire « très chaleureux »...
