Hawana Aqua Park — Attraction in Dhofar Governorate

It is a nice waterpark , costs 10 OMR for over 120 cm height , they start at 10 and closes by 8 however when I was there they didn’t start until 10:25 and they started closing the rides and light from 7:30

The stuff are very friendly and supportive , the shop inside is overpriced much more than expected there is also a small farm animals inside and 2 camels

The life guard at the kids pool and area was very nice , I saw him when there was a special need kid and how much he was kind with the kid and tried to let him play and enjoy his time with lots of kindness and patience. Also at the high rides there were 2 very nice life guards whom were very nice to my kids

The overall experience is very nice and its a good time to spent in salalah

I would recommend for the management 1 thing is to add a shade over the kids pool area , kids normally spent the full day there sitting in water and being under shade would had made it much easier...

Heard they had recently replenished it. Water games are good even though few in number. Maintained clean and tidy. Life gaurds are friendly and helpful.

The same can't be said about dry games ( small kids play zone in the lawn ) which are broken and rusted ( may be they are planning to replenish them soon ).

Entry fee touch on the higher side.

Half day spend is required.

Kids would enjoy a lot.

Better pack some food as no restaurant nearby except the in-house one ( which we didn't try as advised by previous Google reviews )

Although the park is open from 10 am to 10 pm Water 💦 games remains closed during lunch break 1pm to 2pm ( strange right ). But they permit us to take a dip in the pool during the break only the slides and wave 🌊 pool are closed.

Only operational water park in Salalah as of now hence...

The aqua park itself is not bad, but the rules, terms and conditions are. They did not allow me and my son together into the slides, so it was impossible for both of us to have fun together; only one could play at a time. As a result, I had to replace my ticket to a companion ticket (which is not an easy thing to do), so I did not enjoy the park at all; only escorting my kid. For the companion ticket itself, it is too expensive, they charge 4 OMR/person if you stay at one of the chain hotels or 5 OMR if you don't just to get in and do literally nothing. The entrance ticket (all types) does not cover anything but access to the park and you have to pay for everything else like towels, life jackets...etc. The water kids area is poor with few facilities. In short, it is not recommended at all if you have kids up to 4 or...
