Khuwr Najd is a natural creek close to Khasab City in Musandam Oman. This lagoon is one of the largest in the Musandam Governorate. During bad weather at sea, travelers and traders stayed there in times of trouble. Khuwr Najd can be reached by conventional sea vessels (4 hours) via the Strait of Hormuz from Khasab, or by four-wheel drives (30 minutes) along a magnificent mountain road with panoramic views of the lagoon from a height of 420 meters, where tourists can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of sea and mountain. According to Abbes.MS., views of a small gulf surrounded by mountains and hills are breathtaking. A small fishing port can be found there. Over there you can dive if you like, and you might even come across a peacefully swimming green turtle!! (Do not be alarmed.). It is easy to camp there!!
