One of the largest public parks in muscat. There is plenty of parking with 3 main gates of the park.

Pros: You can jog, exercise, have a picnic, and roam around with family. There is horse riding available for kids and electric cars for little kids as well in the central part of the park. There is a kids' play area with plenty of swings and a small area for roller skating as well.

There is a coffee shop in the middle of the park as well and outside the park there are restaurants, coffee shops and a bus stop as well.

Taxis are easily available outside. The four square mazes are absolutely gorgeous to look at.

Cons: Take mosquito repellent, or you will spend most of the time scratching after sunset.

Kids' play area is crowded on the weekends.

The tomb like structure at the center of the park was open a while ago, but unfortunately, it has been closed now by...

Al Sahwa Park is a group of gardens in one large park. Built on an area of 300,000 square metres, Al Sahwa Park is one of the most popular parks frequented by residents in Muscat. ā€œThe Al Sahwa Park was opened on December 8th 2007,ā€ Mohsen bin Abdul Rahman al Abri, Director of Parks Department in Muscat Municipality said. It includes many facilities including the Islamic-type architecture, the dancing fountains, the Islamic gardens, the palm gardens, the flower gardens, the park, children’s games, parking lots, men’s and women’s toilets and shaded...

This place is one of the best parks in the Muscat area. The only thing is like you've to come early on weekends to get the main parking or else you'll have to struggle to get nearby parking. The park has a good entrance and more than enough space for having family dinners and weekly group gatherings. Even if the crowd is too much you'll surely find some space for your family. Most importantly remember that even though there's enough space in the park, the major crowd traffic will be nearby the kids playing area to...

A charming addition to Russayl Park—a free community book shelf! It’s a perfect spot to pick up a book, read while enjoying the peaceful environment, and return it for others to enjoy. The shelf operates on a simple honor system: take a book to read, and bring it back afterward. It’s stocked with a variety of genres, so there's something for everyone. This thoughtful initiative adds a touch of warmth and community spirit to the park. Don’t forget to leave a book if you can to keep this wonderful resource alive!"
