Amerat Park — Attraction in Muscat Governorate

I came to know that this public park is alive mostly during Muscat Festival and other regional shows and circuses. . . Their is plenty of car parking with provisions for handicap car parking. . . Paved walkways. . . Well maintained toilets for g Males 👨🏻 and females 🚺. . . With well lit grounds. . . Their is kids area to the right side of the park with various rides like slides, seasow.. . . . Its a huge place good for an evening walk . . For family bonding - I've seen families coming here and spending time on the park 🏞 eating and walking around on the lawn.. .

. Guess their is no barbecue allowed over here . . I've seen some 2 to 3 cafeteria on this place. . . . Their is an information desk counter towards the right side as u enter the park next to the main gate, that may be active when their is a festival or such function .. . . . And it's good to see lot's of cats 😻 over here roaming around the family expecting...

Amerat park is one of the best and most happening or vibe places in Al amerat area in the Muscat region.there is a huge parking area is provided and there are no entry fees and all.everyone can come and visit the place.not much crowded area ,in the Evening people come for evening walk here.there is a bicycle is available and can get it for rent for some times.every year here in this park muscat festival will be held in the month of january.and this year oman national day was celebrated in Al amerat park only.on that day this area was overcrowded.everyone can easily come and visit the place easily.from ruwi there is taxi and bus services available to Al amerat and from gobra taxi available to amerat.the bus fare will be 400 baisa and taxi fare 500 baisa from ruwi.from gobra am not sure how much they are charging.its a nice,calm and quiet...
