PDO marjan Beach — Attraction in Muscat

What a fun afternoon. Myself and my wife went not knowing what to expect and I can honestly say we will definitely come back again. Don't know if it's always like this, but it was quite with only 6 other people that came after we arrived. There are a couple of things I think you should be aware of before heading to this beach. It's a bit rocky, in and out of the water. So make sure you have slippers or something to protect your feet. There is not much shade, so either spend an hour or 2 and head home, or bring an umbrella if you plan on staying a bit longer. For snorkeling I would recommend the right hand side of the bay. It was beautiful under water and saw tones of fish and flourishing corals.

There are fresh water showers available, however, the toilets were in a bit of a neglected state with no tissue paper. This is located on the end of the parking area. (Not paid parking) So I would bring tissue with on the next time we go.
