One of the best reserves in Lebanon, great for photo hiking or just normal hiking. They offer several trails starting from easy to hard. The trails are predefined and easy to follow no chance in getting lost without a guide only pick up the map at the entrance a fee of 5000Lbp per person will be applied which is very affordable. The best trail in my opinion and you will almost cover the entire reserve and see all the bio diversity and all the gorgeous views is the following: Starting from 1>5>shortcut to 4> 4 towards 3> 3 towards 2 and finally reaching the starting point. Trail 1 and 5: an uphill Trail 4 and 3: downhill Trail 2: flatten dirt trail It will take about 3.5 hours for a normal person while taking photos and resting. It's about 9km consisting of uphills and downhills. The reserve is great to be visited in all seasons. Make sure to wear hiking boots as the terrain is rough, you might need a hiking stick. Keep the reserve clean and have fun!!!

One of the most beautiful reserves in Lebanon. So beautiful and clean and well taken care of. The reserve manager and all the team are amazing so welcoming… the y have the passion and they are taking a very good care of the reserve, like their baby! Ehden is a beautiful village you can after the hike visit Ehden and enjoy the views plus you can find many restaurants in the area but you have to book during weekends, and you must try the best Sahlab ever at Midan. The reserve is kids friendly you can choose the trail you want from the map that you will have at the reception.. Nature there is amazing and the views take your breath away. There are many trails from easy to challenging. Highly recommended for hiking lovers. There are many hiking trails and all with amazing views… it is recommended to visit in all seasons! There is a free parking. Enjoyyy…

I recently visited the Ehden Forest Reserve, and it was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. It’s far from the noise of the city and offers a truly calming experience. Hiking through the forest was incredibly enjoyable—we started from Trail 1 and made our way up to Trail 9, reaching the highest point. The view from the top was breathtaking. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be going back again.

The place is extremely serene and with amazing views. There are the occasional informative signs, but there should be a bit more of them. The path is extremely well defined with signs guiding you where you should go, not to mention the very helpful guide who helped us out before we set foot on our way. There are several options to take depending if you're an expert, a rookie or an amateur.

This location houses a couples of bungalows, a restaurant and the entrance to the protected natural reserve where several hikes are available. The nature in the reserve is amazing and highly recommended in all seasons. The bungalows however could be improved. These are very affordable but be prepared to have a broken bathroom toilet seat or not to have water supply in your bathroom.
