The Chitral Fort is a fortification in Chitral town, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The fort is situated on the banks of the Chitral River. The fort has a commanding position on the river and is believed to have been built by Raja Nadir Shah in the 14th Century. It was restored in 1774 during the reign of Shah Afzal II and again in 1911 by His Highness Sir Shuja ul-Mulk . The compound used to house the barracks of the guards of Mehtar of Chitral as well as his immediate family.

It is one of the main attractions for the public visiting Chitral. The fort is beautifully built on the bank of River Chitral (extension of River Kunhar). The walls are fortified and protected by Cannon guns that are still laying there for display. This part is usually easily accessible to public.
