"Kutwal lake" is a high altitude lake located in haramosh valley of Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan. You have to drive for an hour on KKH from Gilgit city and then turn on to skardu road. If you are comming from Islamabad side you need not to go to Gilgit City, simply turn to skardu road. Upon reaching Village "Sassi" which will take 30 mins, you will have to redirect your route to a rough jeep road which will take to to village "Dachee" or "Dasso", and if you are planning to go on bikes make sure 1 bike 1 person with every repair tool . The jeep road ends in village "Dachee" and you will have to trek on foot from there . Trekking level is moderate and will take no less than 6 hours to reach to the lake, but it is best that you should camp somewhere between "Dachee" and kutwal lake.
