But it’s a beautiful area to just hike around with the graveyard, monastery, river and mountains. Saw the mosque way up there but it looked like a scramble to get to. The signs and online maps were not helpful or accurate, and asking people just led them to point in the general direction. Worth trying to check out, but bring lots of water and a hat! You begin in the small village above Turtuk and follow the well defined path up to the small mosque on the cliffs above town. From the mosque there is only one path to follow to the left. This path is along a water canal the whole way. Very easy to follow!
The waterfall at the end is peaceful and cold.
