The Not-So-Good:

-Remote Location-The lake is located in otror a relatively remote area, which might make it challenging to access for some visitors bcz the only way to going is waking through. Not any drive through Limited Amenities: The surrounding area lacks modern amenities, which might be a drawback for some travelers.

Overall Experience- Kandol Lake is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The breathtaking views, peaceful ambiance, and opportunities for outdoor activities make it an unforgettable experience.

Recommendation: Visit during the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds and enjoy the best views. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the stunning scenery!

Heaven on earth, if you go to kalam and don't go to see kandol lake, the starting point of utror river , you waste your trip and money, must go with family or friends. A magical place. Going is tough start your journey from kalam by 0800 to reach by 1100 and then head backwards by 1600 to reach back by maghrib.

Can be visited on 4x4s only , using services of locally available land cruires. Tourists are advised to negotiate rates and timings before leaving for sight seeing in these areas, since drivers can be itchy at times insisting on hushing up the tour and trying to save their time , for second stint with another set of tourist, leaving you only touching the sights with no time to absorb the beauty of these areas.

I was lucky to hire Mr Hikmat as driver , who took great pains and times to show us around in his modest but clean landcruiser with great driving skills, he became our guide to the area gave us historical knowledge of area and showed us around with no hurry.
