I would like to recommend you to go to Tukey's top via jeep and then trek will come easy for you. But it was a great adventure to go from this trek. We have seen many views on the way which we have never seen before in our life. We were four guys. Natural beauty at its best. The place has lush green meadows amidst snow-covered peaks with river, streams and waterfalls. Think about a piece of nature and it has it all. Then we installed a camp which we have borrowed from natives. The plains of Jahaz Banda has only a few hotels to provide accommodation. Camping is an option only for those who know how to camp. Jahaz Banda is an important stay point for all travelers to Katora lake which is almost 2 to 3 hours away from jahaz Banda. Faster and experts can cover it in about 2 hrs. However, the trek is undoubtedly tough from here to the lake. From pastures to meadows to mountains and rocky sledges, one gets to experience all. Bring water and food stuff with you while trekking towards katora lake. There are few seasonal springs to help but they are usually absent during winters. You can get camp on rent at jahaz Banda. Food is tasty but don’t look at kitchen. Desi washrooms are available at jahaz Banda. You must have to visit jahaz Banda waterfall because it’s a great waterfall i have ever seen.
