Princess of hope and Hingol National Park are hidden gems of Pakistan, not in all world even not in Pakistan anybody knows about that place very well. Awesome place for the people who thinks seriously about nature, the mountains after 256 kilometres from karachi are saying many things. When you will travel through these mountains it will mesmerized you. The nature creat it very beautifully or I can say it's looks like that originally that was things but it stuffed by nature from thousands of centuries. Every mountain is a master piece of art. Strongly recommended for all nature lover to visit that place. Princess of hope is basically a master piece of the nature, naturally curves of mountains looks like a human statute, The name "princess of hope" was given by famous personality of Hollywood "Angelina Julie" during her visit from Karachi to Gawadar. The entrance for Princess of Hope Haven't ♿ wheelchair accessible, so it's difficult to access for the people to the main statue, who have any disability. I m advising the officials of hingol national park and balochistan government that please keep maintain that place as you are doing great efforts. And please give facilities to tourist. There should be fuel stations, tyre shops and clean washrooms after every 50 kilometres (minimum) and wheelchair accessible entrance. As other countries always try to give more and more facilities for tourists. And please promote this place more better internationally and on national level. I hope if they can do that.. this place will be largest revenue generated place of...

Its Situated right on the Makran Coastal Highway. The Princess of Hope (Urdu امید کی شہزادی) is a natural rock formation in Pakistan of the type known as a hoodoo or "fairy chimney" and which could fancifully be construed (see mimetolith) as resembling a crowned and skirted female figure looking toward the horizon. It is situated approximately 190 km (120 mi) from the financial hub of Karachi, Pakistan and approximately 717 km (446 mi) from the provincial capital, Quetta. The curiously shaped rock pinnacle is located in the Hingol National Park in the Lasbela District of the province of Balochistan, the mountainous landscape of which is riven with picturesque gorges and features unusual formations of mud and rock, shaped into their present forms by the forces of erosion. Lasbela District forms part of the coastal strip known as the Makran, which also takes in certain coastal regions of Iran.

The formation was given the name Princess of Hope by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who visited Pakistan - including the Hingol National Park - in the year 2002 as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. The name (conceived by Jolie on the spot as a spontaneous, personal reaction to the form of the monolith) stuck, having evidently appealed to then-current local sensibilities. Not far from the "Princess" stands another natural rock formation of sphinx-like form, the so-called "Balochistan Sphinx" (known also as the "Lion of Balochistan" or Abul-Hol) which is visible from the Buzi Pass section of the Makran...

The Princess of Hope is a remarkable natural rock formation located within Hingol National Park in Balochistan, Pakistan. Approximately 190 kilometers from Karachi, this formation has been sculpted over centuries by natural forces, resulting in a shape that strikingly resembles a regal female figure gazing towards the horizon.

In 2002, during her visit as a UN Goodwill Ambassador, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie named this formation “Princess of Hope,” captivated by its serene and hopeful appearance.

Visitors traveling along the Makran Coastal Highway can easily view the Princess of Hope, as it stands prominently near the road. The journey offers scenic vistas of the Arabian Sea and the rugged terrain of Hingol National Park, enhancing the experience. Nearby, another intriguing formation, the Balochistan Sphinx, adds to the area’s allure.

The Princess of Hope stands as a testament to nature’s artistic prowess and is a symbol of the rich geological heritage of Balochistan. For travelers seeking unique natural wonders, this formation is a must-visit destination.

Seems out of this world. Significant signs as though an entire civilisation have lived here. Never seen mountains shaped as castles, faces and other shapes! This place is hidden away in the middle of nowhere unexplored by archaeologists. A must see and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for something...

In mid-June, we decided to visit Kund Malir and then headed to the Princess of Hope, as we had heard a lot about it. However, June is a very warm month, making it difficult to step out of the vehicle for long. There were no canteens or cafeterias in sight, but there is a proper staircase leading up the hill. I didn’t go because of the heat. Instead, I stayed with a friend inside the vehicle while the others went up. When I looked at the Princess of Hope and the surrounding hills, it felt like someone had been here thousands of years before us. The formations almost gave the impression of an ancient civilization that lived and worked here but left their work unfinished. That’s just the thought that came to my mind while observing the place. If you plan to visit, I recommend coming before sunset to avoid the heat.
