Sharif Park — Attraction in Model Town Tehsil

Sharif Park has seen so many changes over the years. In the 90s it was encroached by local vendors and a petrol pump. Then it became a spot for jumma bazaar. A few years passed after that when the government finally decided to relocate the bazaar to Shadman, the park finally was restored. It has a cement pitch for cricket and a jogging track. Once it had a functional gym as well. Recently, a major part of the park is used by traffice police which I believe they have no right to do. Anyway, Shareef park still holds attention of several kids who live in the Icharra surroundings. And its a constant source of nostalgia for older generation which has spent memorable times...

A good family park. But the issue is with management. This can be very well maintained for the community but alas, our parks management is not that much good.
