I would rate this half a star if I could, I will admit, there was a decent variety of birds,i realize that some Pakistanis wont understand my point of view, however I feel that the conditions of this aviary were pretty bad, they had kept aquatic birds, however there was no where near enough water for them, these birds need a lot of water in nature, however here there was barely enough to cover their flippers, other than this, there were some birds which were kept in cages, which were FAR too small for them, and you could tell they were very uncomfortable, one bird (in the reception) was literally trying to break the cage and trying to leave, and it was "screaming" quite loudly, the seed bowls were mostly empty, and a large portion of birds were quite scruffed up I would also like to add, that very young kids are allowed to roam freely, and try to grab/play with the birds, which sometimes ends up with injured birds. Injured birds who are ignored/receive no treatment, an example of this that I saw, was an emu with a broken leg, that was limping a lot, and was clearly in a bad situation.
another thing is, large wild birds are allowed to roam freely, who can easily injure even adults, if they...
Read moreThe Bahria Enclave Bird Aviary is a charming, compact spot primarily serving residents within the gated community. While its location makes it less accessible for those from the main city, it offers a pleasant, short outing for families with young children.
The aviary features a modest collection of birds, including peacocks, parrots, swans, and pigeons. The ticket price is reasonable, making it a decent value for a quick visit. Many visitors, like one reviewer, have had a "wonderful time" and found it to be "truly a sight to behold."
However, consistency is an issue. A common point of concern, echoed by multiple guests, is the well-being of the animals. This highlights a potential discrepancy in the collection's management.
Furthermore, while the birds are the main attraction, cleanliness can be a problem, especially during hot weather. As another reviewer wisely pointed out, "Proper care is paramount," and more emphasis on hygiene and the birds' health and...

Charging 120 rupees for admission can be quite off-putting for some visitors.
Notable concern is the lack of climate control, particularly during the unforgiving summer months. The soaring temperatures can make strolling through the enclosure an uncomfortable experience for visitors and, more importantly, raise questions about the well-being of the birds. Providing shaded areas, cooling misters, or controlled temperature zones would significantly enhance the overall visitation experience and ensure the...
