Nice little airport. I think it only has one or maybe a few gates. The upstairs departure lounge looks newly renovated, and there are some nice gift shops. The arrival terminal downstairs is not as nice, but you're not going to be spending a lot of time there anyway. Going through customs and passport control both ways was pretty easy and painless. Same for security.
IMPORTANT: The check-in counter and security checkpoints are only open for a limited time window before a flight. It seemed like they closed about 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time. I'm guessing this is because it's a small airport with limited traffic and probably only one flight going out at a time. So, don't assume that because it's a small airport, you can just show up an hour before your flight and breeze through. I recommend getting here at least two hours before your flight, depending on how much you need to do for check-in. Read moreThe airport itself is completely forgettable. Luckily there's only 1 flight at any given time and short lines, so you're in and out quickly. The facilities aren't great, but 4 stars for the fact that you don't have to be there crazy early or wait in long lines. As others have said, he exit and green fees come to $50, and one can pay by credit card. There's plenty of parking, and the lot is short- and long-term all together; Lucas can just leave their cars, walk in, then walk out when they return, which I doubt is the case in many places is the world, and it's very convenient.
