The exit from the main road isnโ€™t sign posted from the south, so it is best to download an offline map.

Iโ€™m not sure if it was coincidental, but we arrived at the same time as a friendly local holding a receipt book. We paid him $20 for 2 adults and 2 children. He said he would write the receipt and put it on our car whilst we were at the waterfall. When we returned the man had gone and there was no receipt. Iโ€™m not sure if this was a legitimate government fee or not. There are laminated signs at the entrance that detail the $5 entrance fee.

The quality of the trail is poor with no sign of the money being spent on trail maintenance. The trail surface is basic with poor run-off resulting in several muddy sections. There is no signage when you reach the top. of the waterfall. It appears that the trail has been rerouted so that you no longer need to cross the water at the top. The walk is about 10 minutes from the car park to the bottom.

The waterfall itself is good, but not spectacular. Suggest wearing sandals as the pond below the waterfall has fallen trees and a...

Called for a reservation but no one answered. Sent a letter 3 months in advance but again no response. Went in person and Chadwick advised me to purchase a waterfalling NFT? I had to download some app on my nokia but now I have lifetime membership for only 100 ethers, whatever that adds up to. Waterfall itself is excellent. minus 1 star for this new age stuff. My bank keeps calling me after I got that app too. Don't know what they want as I'm still on vacation. Hopefully nothing important but they froze my card. Had to start writing checks for purchases. Guessing it might be related but I'm trying to chill a little before my surgery in tailand. Hopefully it's fine as I have to transfer funds from that account to pay for the knee...

Super nice falls and not popular. Just short way diwn by stairs. Sign says you need to pay somwhere but i didnt as there is no one mile around. To see waterfall you need to cross river. Take care, its slippy and last metre is quite heavy stream. Lucky you have security rope over the river to hold on. 4/5 of crossing is pretty easy but 2 parts require extra attention. You slip, you either fall on first part or go down by waterfall on second. And this could be letal. As soon you cross, just 1min down and you can see beautiful views. Everywhere...

This was my favourite waterfall on Babeldoab Island. Although the Ngatpang falls are smaller than the Ngardmau falls, the setting of Ngatpang is more scenic. Amazing place for a swim, under the overhanging trees. You have to pay $5 to the Ngatpang State official (his name is Cole), he usually is parked in his car at the car park.

Short hike down the trail through the forest to the waterfall. It was a bit slippery due to the mud but not a problem. Easy to swim in the waterfall area and easy to park at the start of the trail. With the offline map we had no troubles finding the place.
