It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Colon, as it is on the edge of the road to Portobelo and you do not have to spend on boat to get to it; however it is a pity that (as in all the beaches of Panama) as the years have passed, have taken over the public space and have built ranches whose use they charge, before there was enough free space to walk, play volleyball, etc; now you can not and those who can not or do not want to pay to use these ranches have to walk far to then take refuge under a tree. A real shame how they have taken over the beaches of PANAMA.

Awesome and ample caribbean beach. Warm waters, perfect swimming conditions in Aug of 2024.
Ample and guarded parking. $5 USD entrance fee. Cash only. Has showers to rinse off sand for $0.50 USD/ change clothes.
Has a restaurant available (didn't eat there thus can't comment on food).
Has the occasional trash floating around (not large amounts, but it's there) bathrooms need maintenance, other guests are playing music...
Read moreIt's closer than Isla Grande, and the beach is pretty good, if you can ignore the piles of trash that seem to be part of the ebb and flow of the tides...the food is great!
Watch your bags like an eagle, there are naughty guys prowling around waiting for an oppotunity..up at the main street there's a bar and a tienda and it also seems to be infested with surly seedy types.
