Guide or no guide: If you want to spend time above the waterfall, and above the water slide, then just park, take the short trail that others described, go down the sandy hill on your right, and hang out at the river. No ropes, guides, etc. needed. Just bring some snacks and drinks, pack out your garbage, and have a great time :-). There are places to get wet, dunk yourself, splash around in the water. If you want to go down the natural waterslide (fun!), you should bring a rope to help climb back up (like 10M long, so you can double it up). There's a place to tie/clip it in at the top. If you can't climb at all, or can't lift your own body weight, then don't go down the water slide, because the way back up is climbing. If you want to explore down the canyon further, AND want to jump off the waterfall at the other end (going farther, under the bridge), you probably want a guide, their ropes, and their gear to help you climb back up safely. A guide can also do other cool stuff with you, like rappel down the cliff walls, etc. But if all you want to do is swim at the upper (easy-to-get-to) area, and if you're relatively fit, and want to go down the short natural water slide, you shouldn't need a guide. I'm actually planning to go back with a guide soon, just do rappelling down the...
