Skate Park - Cinta Costera 3 — Attraction in El Chorrillo

Very fun little skate park, and the only full skate park that I'm aware of in Panama City area. It's meant for all types of extreme sports, but from what I have seen there's way more skateboarding going on than anything else here. I have spent a lot of time at this skate park, and it's almost got it's own personality. Different crews come to the park at different hours, and the vibe is quite different. At night, you have your skaters who are more "rough around the edges" but they're still there to skate and I've never seen anything unpleasant happen. In fact, most of the guys are really friendly and put all they have into skating because it's one of few positive outlets in the ghetto. During the day, the crowd is a mix of seriously dedicated skaters who are sponsored to young newbies trying to get their wits about them on the board. A little more innocent vibe, but no one stays for too long during the day because the sun can be brutal. When the park is relatively empty, it's a total blast. Unfortunately, it can reach full capacity in little time and skating becomes pretty difficult. This is especially true when the children are there. One of the nicest free skate park available, I think. Even though I haven't been to many, but this one is free, where anyone can go. Lots of nice people around, at least in the morning, not sure about later...

No solo el futbol y el béisbol saca a jóvenes de lo vicios y pandillas, el Bmx y Skate también lo hace, practicar esto no nos hace vándalos ni nada por el estilo. Además con un Skatepark de esta categoría se aumenta de nivel pudiendo unos de nosotros poder representar a Panamá en una competencia a nivel internacional👍🏻 así que...
