The entrance to the trail is through Hotel Campestre. As you drive/walk in stay on your right. If you park on the right-most spot you can find at the hotel, you will be 50ft from the trail's office. The trail itself is a 1.4km loop, mostly flat and suitble for walking (it is too short for running). It is well kept and and a very attractive option for small children. Entrance fees are $4 for adults and $1 for children. I definitely recommend it for families...

The golden frogs and other species that are on display in the small museum are really interesting and a friendly member of staff talked to us about each one. This is part of a research and breeding programme as most of those you can see are critically endangered. Well worth a visit and the small entry fee. Takes about 45 minutes to walk here from the middle of town or about 20 minutes from the Golden Frog Inn...
