Playa Uverito is on the pacific coast of Panama, located 11km from Las Tablas, in the province of Los Santos. I'm writing this review in January 2021, so still deep in the COVID lockdown, which should be kept in mind for any reviews being written! The neighborhood is calm and serene, not really a place for loud music and big party-peeps! the water is WARM, WARM, WARM! the safe, shallow water and sandy beach make it ideal for kids wanting to splash in the surf, make sand castles or dig for treasure and lots of shells. It's not the picture perfect azure coloured water because of the dark sand, but the water is very safe with great waves for jumping and playing in! Currently there is only one small restaurant open for lunch, but the food is good and they offer 2 different local beers, served cold! It's definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Las Tablas for a day...
Read morePeaceful, perfectly positioned beside the Pacific Ocean an oasis for weary travelers in Panamá. The guesthouse is clean and nicely decorated with special touches of personal care the owners contribute to the property. Copious amounts of outdoor space as shown in our photos. Phil and Gloria keep the Panama Adventure property in tip top shape with handmade craftsmanship and beautiful decorations. Highly recommended. Restaurants There are at least three restaurants on the beach road but one serves delicious garlicky buttery sauce over shrimp or fresh fish and fried plantains. We drank the lemonada which is lime aid with cane sugar, this drink was refreshing...
Read moreWe found this to be one of the better beaches on the peninsula. There is plenty of space to park close to the beach within close proximity to the gazebos. This beach has a very nice family vibe, especially over the weekends when families congregate to swim, BBQ and listen to music. There are a few restaurants along the strip and one can easily walk a fair distance along the beach to more...
