We found this to be one of the better beaches on the peninsula. There is plenty of space to park close to the beach within close proximity to the gazebos. This beach has a very nice family vibe, especially over the weekends when families congregate to swim, BBQ and listen to music. There are a few restaurants along the strip and one can easily walk a fair distance along the beach to more secluded areas.

Nice place if the visitors would keep the place clean! Power outages are a other big problem here. No power - means also that there is no water - no cellphone service because the tower is on the same power service. No backup generator! And expats like the local home owners asking a lot of money to sell, rent properties without telling the power and water problem!

El uverito es una playa ideal para salir a caminar una zona para comer comida de mar y comida típica panameña, es una playa que en días de mucha marea alta, trae mucho desperdicio, en el sentido de que a la playa llega mucho tronco, mucho árbol, quizás la corriente arrastra todo lo de las tormentas a esa playa. La marea sube muy rápido sin darse cuenta entonces de mucha precaución. La playa no es de arena blanca. Quizás en los días que yo fui había marea porque la luna estaba en creciente y en llena. También habían medusas pequeñas(color azul), las cuales generan un tipo de quemadura, pequeña, pero lo suficiente para sacarte del mar de una vez, recomiendo llevar algún anti alergico en pastillas. Sus habilidades son personas muy calidosas y colaborativas, ayudan al turista, están pendientes y brindan un excelente servicio. Ideal para llevar a los perros a refrescar se

Playa Uverito is on the pacific coast of Panama, located 11km from Las Tablas, in the province of Los Santos. I'm writing this review in January 2021, so still deep in the COVID lockdown, which should be kept in mind for any reviews being written! The neighborhood is calm and serene, not really a place for loud music and big party-peeps! the water is WARM, WARM, WARM! the safe, shallow water and sandy beach make it ideal for kids wanting to splash in the surf, make sand castles or dig for treasure and lots of shells. It's not the picture perfect azure coloured water because of the dark sand, but the water is very safe with great waves for jumping and playing in! Currently there is only one small restaurant open for lunch, but the food is good and they offer 2 different local beers, served cold! It's definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Las Tablas for a day...

Peaceful, perfectly positioned beside the Pacific Ocean an oasis for weary travelers in Panamá. The guesthouse is clean and nicely decorated with special touches of personal care the owners contribute to the property. Copious amounts of outdoor space as shown in our photos. Phil and Gloria keep the Panama Adventure property in tip top shape with handmade craftsmanship and beautiful decorations. Highly recommended. Restaurants There are at least three restaurants on the beach road but one serves delicious garlicky buttery sauce over shrimp or fresh fish and fried plantains. We drank the lemonada which is lime aid with cane sugar, this drink was refreshing...
