I went back to this lake probably after 40 years, I took my wife this time, it's a nice alpine lake, normally if you take a tour service to Chavin you stop here since it's on the way.

Es una parada obligatoria en ruta a Chavin de Huantar. Es una zona tranquila, de aire fresco, te llena de tranquilidad. Está a un lado de la carretera y frente a la laguna hay puestos de comida con servicios higiénicos (1.5 soles aprox). Hay paseo a caballo y hay personas que te ofrecen foto con animalitos.

La Laguna Querococha es una laguna hermosa y sus alrededores también lo son, desde ahí se puede divisar la Unión de dos cerros dónde se puede apreciar el mapa de Perú. También hay niños con sus ovejitas bebés que te las prestan para que te tomes fotos.

Laguna grande, esta a mitad del camino de Catac a Chavín de Huantar, se encuentra a 3980 msnm. Pasando la laguna, se puede apreciar la falla geológica en forma del mapa del Perú. Es parte de las visitas del tour a Chavín saliendo de Huaraz

Lo visitamos cuando íbamos de camino al sitio arqueológico Chavín de Huantar y való totalmente la pena deternerse unos minutos para poder apreciar la belleza de este lugar. La vista es maravillosa y puedes tomar fotos bellísimas.

Me gustó mucho es de fácil acceso claro que está en altura creo que lo que diferencia a esta laguna son los animales que te puedes tomar fotos...es una laguna muy bonita no vallan tan tarde para que la aprecien bien
