Its main structures are found on the right bank of Llullán river, on the west flank of the Cordillera Blanca, and 1 km north of the city of Caraz.

The first thing you experience when you enter this pre-Inca site is the pack of aggressive barking dogs. Such a waste that this important archeological site is so neglected by the government. They allow people to build right alongside the ruins. But the biggest problem are the many dogs. Some even tried to bite us.

We were here in 2018. There were maybe four dogs then. This morning there were about fifteen. What a shame that it is so difficult to appreciate this setting, good views, and nature. This might have been a very peaceful place to relax and contemplate. Instead we must constantly look...

L'endroit ne paye pas mine mais il faut imaginer que cette contruction fut édifiée à la même époque que la Pyramide de Kheops (il y a plus de 4000 ans). C'est gratuit et vous pouvez bénéficier d'un super guide qui vous trnasmettra toutes ses connaissances avec passion ! Le personnel sur place manque de moyens c'est dommage pour autant que peu de fouilles scientifiques s'intéressent au site... dommage encore plein de mystères planent sur ce site et cette...

Un poco descuidado, al momento de mi visita no había nadie que nos lleve por el lugar.

Nada que una breve consulta en Google no saque de dudas pero si hubiera querido conocer más a detalle el lugar, lastima que no se pudo.

El ingreso no tiene costo, solo se debe registrar el ingreso.

En el mapa nos envía hacia una calle sin salida, es fácil de ver el ingreso, existen una barandas color blanco...

Me encantó visitar el sitio Arqueológico, no sabía que tan cerca de Caraz podía estar un templo ceremonial tan único. Y con una vista panorámica hermosa. Ojalá las autoridades correspondientes puedan invertir en las excavaciones y demás investigaciones de esta cultura tan importante para el Perú.
