Really beautiful and impressively powerful waterfall with cool and refreshing water to swim in. The hike from Chazuta was a lot (had to carry a 4 yr child about half the way) 1.5 to 2 hrs. A lot of steep inclines. Luckily we met a local family who took us to the right spot and although it was a haul to get there it was worth it. Found some star fruit trees to snack on on the way too… pack...

Really beautiful and impressively powerful waterfall with cool and refreshing water to swim in. The hike from Chazuta was a lot (had to carry a 4 yr child about half the way) 1.5 to 2 hrs. A lot of steep inclines. Luckily we met a local family who took us to the right spot and although it was a haul to get there it was worth it. Found some star fruit trees to snack on on the way too… pack plenty of water.

Excelente las cascadas, esto queda en chazuta q está a una hora de tarapoto en minivan. Se camina 3km q son 1 hora aprox desde el pueblo de chazuta
