If you’re looking for a breathtaking panoramic view of Arequipa, this is one of the best spots to visit. The scenery is simply stunning—just take a look at the photos and videos to see for yourself.
The location is about a 10-minute taxi ride from downtown Arequipa. It offers a superior view compared to the Mirador de Sachaca due to its higher altitude. While it’s advisable to visit with others, I ventured there solo because I love a bit of adventure.
Please note that the site does not have wheelchair access. It's a roughly 5-minute walk from the taxi drop-off point. The viewpoint is located in the Hunter district of Arequipa.
A taxi ride from the Plaza de Armas (the city center) should cost no more than 15 soles. ( Cabify and InDrive from your phone is a good option), Alternatively, local buses run from Salaverry Avenue to the Antigua Cervecería, where Parra Avenue meets Calle La Merced, right outside the BCP bank.
