Spectacular cave, without a doubt one of the most impressive we’ve seen in Peru. It’s very spacious, with 4 ‘rooms’ where you can admire the different rock formations… truly amazing nature! The route is 550 meters long and takes about one hour at a slow pace. Entrance costs S/ 25 for adults, and you must be accompanied by a guide (S/ 30) and rent a helmet (S/ 3 per person). It may seem a bit expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it. The guides explain everything very well and are super friendly. The cave is also incredibly well set up, with a nicely built path and lights. It was just inaugurated in 2024! Definitely a stop in...

Booked a tour to see the caves. The drive up to the caves is very bumpy but has some nice views of rural areas. Walk a little bit downhill and wonder how somebody ever found the entrance because it is craddled in the mountainside. The inside is pitch black. Very cool to only be able to see where your, or others, flashlights are pointing. Cave floor is filled with water and clay. If you plan to go by yourself make sure to bring water resistant boots or...
