Not worth it and a little upsetting to watch. Many animals enclosings are small and a few animals were visibly hurt or badly feeded (pictures), but this is a relatively common observation for zoos (more so in the Southern hemisphere). Price of food is high in comparison with outside restaurants (as expected) but most of all really bad quality. If you stay in Lima, the Parque de las Leyendas is one level higher on maintenance, animal care and children entertainment, although if you live somewhere else than in Peru you might want to skip visiting a local zoo altogether and go for a trip in the jungle. Kids seem to have fun, but several activities inside have an extra fee. Main entrance is S/21 for adults, S/14 for children between 2 and 12. Lunch inside is around S/30. Dinosaurs building visit is an extra S/10. Train and playground activities are also extra. An Uber from Miraflores to Huachipa will cost around S/40 when no traffic jams. Difficult to get an Uber from there back, but there are many taxis that will take you back for S/35 and make you pay the road...

Loved that they kept it geared towards their...
