Las terrazas agrícolas se extendían por la ladera como escalones gigantes, y el valle del río Urubamba se abría ante mis ojos con una belleza impresionante.

Mientras caminaba entre las ruinas, imaginé cómo los incas cultivaban aquí, aprovechando cada rincón de la montaña para producir alimentos. Me dijeron que este sitio no solo era un centro agrícola, sino también un punto estratégico en el Camino Inca. De hecho, se cree que Manco Inca Yupanqui incendió la ciudad para evitar que los conquistadores españoles lo siguieran, lo que ayudó a mantener el camino oculto por siglos.

Lo que más me impactó fue la sensación de estar en un lugar que aún guarda secretos. Aunque las piedras han resistido el paso del tiempo, el silencio y la energía del sitio hacen que uno se sienta parte de la historia.

Después de un rato explorando, me senté en una de las terrazas y simplemente disfruté del paisaje. Patallacta no es solo un conjunto de ruinas, es un pedazo de historia viva que te transporta a la época de los incas. Si alguna vez recorres el Camino Inca, este será uno de esos lugares que recordarás para siempre.
