#Peru🇵🇪 Enjoy incredible view wherever we headed on the way in Peru.

Unexpectedly beautiful, "7 Laguns Seven Lakes", this is our first time hiking at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, 10 kilometers, about 4-5 hours of hiking, the highest point reached 4,867 meters high , I am glad that I usually maintain some physical fitness, because hiking uphill at such a high altitude is even more breathtaking! Fortunately, we came, and the scenery along the way was really beautiful. "Seven Lakes" as the name suggests, we will encounter seven lakes during the entire hiking, and each one of them is beautiful and I like it.

📍Laguna Azulcocha @4,618m 📍Laguna Otorongo @4,620m 📍Laguna Oq'ecocha @4,631m 📍Laguna Pucacocha @4,670m 📍Laguna Pachaspata @4,867m 📍Laguna Alqacocha @4,752m 📍Laguna Q'omercocha @4,666m

Absolutely incredible, but you definitely need to be in shape and more importantly, fully acclimated. Be aware that if you don’t have experience with altitude, not everyone is well-suited to begin this trek after 2-3 days at lower elevation and you may need a few more days. If you aren’t using a guide/horse, it will pay dividends to pack light as the air is thin. It gets very cold at night so be prepared and conditions can also change quite quickly (hot to cold, sunny to rainy, etc.) We had to turn back due to illness not related to altitude and it’s worth being mindful that you are literally in the middle of nowhere so know your limitations and be smart. The Rainbow Mountains and Red Valley are part of this trek that shouldn’t be missed, but go very early in the morning as it gets SWAMPED with tour groups as the...

I was lucky enough to visit this iconic place twice - once for sunset and then for sunrise the next morning. It was freezing cold both times and the altitude, at 16,500 ft, made it difficult to reach; but when the sun finally poked through the clouds, it became one of the most beautiful moments I’ve experienced across my travels. One I won’t soon forget!
