Natural Reserve Marasha — Attraction in Yavari

Excellent activities, I have 2 of the best days of my life. First is the travel on the Amazon river from Leticia to the another side of the river that is in Peru. We travelled in October and the river was in medium caudal so we need to walk to the reserve. On the river was our guide waiting for us, I travelled only with my wife, the walk was amazing and he explained about the native custom, about the jungle and the river. When we arrived to the reserve a luscious lunch was waiting for us, those days we did some kayaking, some fishing,night safari looking for alligators, we did not find any, a walk to the canopy (we did not canopy here because we booked in another reserve near Leticia and It was amazing). Our guide was the 2 days with us and we have the opportunity to feed wild capybaras with bananas, the dinner was very good too and on the night we have a strong thunderstorm with a lot raining. Next day we have a special lunch cooked from the wife's guide, really a tasty lunch. The comeback to the river was through the jungle on a small boat, in a channel that was made to communicate the Amazon river with the reserve in low water time and comeback to Leticia where more activities were waiting. I do not exactly how much we paid but I think that less than £250 and It worth...

At first was unsure what to do when we got here. A beautiful lake encircled by massive Cebu trees and full of tiny piranha. Ask your guide and you might be able to fish for them with chicken skin from the cocina. Take the opportunity to kayak the lake and maybe sit in the hammock for a couple...

A la llegada en el inicio de la caminata se tiene acceso a una vista espectacular del rio Amazonas. La caminata está repleta de arboles gigantescos. Era temporada baja y se podia ver la marca del agua en la corteza de los arboles. Insectos, frutos, flores, raices modificadas, reptiles y anfibios diversos. El final del camino es una asombrosa construcción a la orilla del lago dlnde se almuerza en un comedor comun y se descansa en frescas hamacas a orillas del lago. Guacamayos, un pirarucu, una familia de capibaras y la ceiba mas grande que he visto en mi vida te espera en ese punto. El regreso en bote tiene mas sorpresas: aves y monos.
