We caught a combi from the Chiclayo to visit here, but when we arrived we were told we were unable to visit the site as it was closed due to rains. Only the museum was open. The museum was quite interesting, not as many interesting items as the Lambayeque museum, but it had some different things. However, we had really wanted to see the tombs in person, so it was a disappointment that we couldn't visit. Then although the museum told us there were combis every 30 mins, we finished at 2pm and no more combis came, and we had to hitchhike back to Chiclayo. I would check the site is open...
