Agoo Eco Park — Attraction in Agoo

I visited Agoo Eco Park on June 20, 2024. This tourist attraction is a haven for nature lovers, offering a blend of nature, forestry, and camping vibes. The park is well-maintained and clean, providing a perfect ambiance for picnics, camping, and just chilling out.

Regarding services and facilities, the staff seemed okay, though we didn't interact with them much. As walk-in customers, we didn't experience any formal check-in or check-out process. The park offers amenities like a BBQ place, but you'll need to bring your own charcoal and other BBQ essentials.

For activities, Agoo Eco Park has huts available for rent. However, we found it cooler and more pleasant to stay under the shades of the trees.

In terms of value for money, the entrance fee is just 20 pesos, making it very affordable. There are food sellers inside, but we didn't buy any food since our main purpose was picture-taking before heading to our accommodation in La Union.

The pros of Agoo Eco Park include its affordable entrance fee and the cool, shaded areas. Overall, it's a great place if you want to experience nature and relax. I would recommend it, especially for those looking for a nice side trip before going to San Juan, La Union.

The eco park is local government initiatives where you can enjoy and chill with nature, encounter some wild birds and local herds. A picnic coves covered with pine trees is a great way to enjoy your foodies and munchies. For those whose planning to visit this place, an entrance fee is collected, P15 for adult and P10 for children and senior citizens. There are comfort rooms along eco park. The road has been paved and concrete so no worries about using cars, motorbikes and bicycle. Nearby, is a long gray sand beach and breakwaters. Depending on the tides, the beach is mostly calm and the water is warm too. However, the sea bed is not flat and there are uneven areas. Shore is not clean, plenty of eye sores. If you are planning to swim, please get extra precautions, bring anti-histamine and/or first aid kit, jelly fish and thorns are everywhere. Comfort room were destroyed so be aware. it's very spacious, it's a nice place for picnics and camping (you can't stay overnight though) there are plenty of people during weekends. the trees shades us from the scorching sunlight at the middle of the day, the sea breeze makes the area cool. it would be nice if the camping area or picnic grounds of those who smokes and vapes are separated from non smokers or BETTER if they prohibit smoking because there are children around, the smoke from people grilling their foods is tolerable but the smoke from cigarettes is a NO!
