The roads going to this location is winding with inclined slopes that require good tires and a sound engine. Tourists are required to visit the baranggay gymnasium for registration, fees (P80/pax + P200 guide fee), and to obtain helmets to be used during the tour.
The guide will then lead your vehicle to an open field for the dropoff point. The hike will start with crossing a corn field, shallow river crossing, then a rocky path at the foot of these formations.
I was already wearing hiking sandals but could still feel the uneven and sharp rocks. It is advised not to use footwear thinner than hiking gear. We were asked to choose between 'easy' and 'hard' routes after a few minutes. Apparently the odd and dangerous path we initially trekked doesn't even fall under easy yet 😵💫
