Overall Impression:
Tanawan Falls is a beautiful natural wonder located in Dingalan, Aurora. While not as grand as other waterfalls in the Philippines, it offers a refreshing escape from the city and a chance to connect with nature. However, be prepared for some crowds and a short, but somewhat challenging, trek to reach the falls.
Highlights:
Crystal-clear water: The water at Tanawan Falls is incredibly refreshing and clean, perfect for a dip on a hot day.
Scenic beauty: The lush greenery surrounding the falls and the cascading water create a truly breathtaking scene.
Short walk: The trek to the falls is only about 5-10 minutes, making it accessible for most people.
Affordable entrance fee: Entrance to the falls is very affordable, making it a budget-friendly outing.
Areas for Improvement:
Crowds: The falls can get quite crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. This can make it difficult to enjoy the scenery and swim in the water.
Lack of facilities: There are very few facilities at the falls, such as bathrooms and changing rooms. This can be inconvenient for visitors.
Rough terrain: The path to the falls can be quite rough and uneven, making it difficult for people with mobility issues.
Recommendations:
Visit the falls on weekdays or during the off-season to avoid crowds.
Bring water shoes, as the rocks can be slippery.
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery.
Be prepared for a short but challenging trek.
Overall Rating:
4 out of 5 stars

Read moreIt was great! The water is cold and refreshing, but it's shallow. The deepest was just within the chest and stomach area. There are different parts of the falls you can dip your feet and sit (by the rocks) or bring your own chair. You can also jump from a small cliff, but I don't recommend it since it is a shallow waterfall. The water is clear, and no drinking of alcoholic drinks and smoking is strictly implemented. But you can have a picnic as long as you clean after. There's also a 20 Php fee per head, and you can either use the tricycle (40 Php per head) or walk to a steep road to get there. There's no time limit for staying. You can stay as long as you can still bear the coldness...

It would be very best to go there part of January as per the foreign tourist that frequently go there he says the picture i take is not the best image of the falls, there is still season that water falls in huge dense. Weekdays is the best time to enjoy the peace of the place. Water is very cold. If you frequently hike and no schedule to hurry. I would recommend to go by foot because there's lot of tricycle or motor bike that will offer you going up which cost you 40 php per head. For me not that slippery but best to walk...
