‼️Honest Review of Mosboron Beach‼️
The place has potential because of its fine sand and clear water — it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a simple beach experience. However, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the visit more enjoyable.
The photoshoot fee (₱1,500) feels quite high for a small resort with limited photo areas aside from the seashore. Compared to other locations in Albay, it’s not very “photoshoot-worthy” for the price. The cottages are very close to each other, so noise from neighboring groups (especially loud music) can be disturbing. The staff was not accommodating. After payment, we were left on our own and not assisted in locating our assigned cottage. Our cottage had no working lights, and when we tried to fix it, it seemed grounded. Unfortunately, no staff was available at that time to assist. There are no direction signages going down to the beach area, which makes it a bit confusing for first-time visitors. No designated parking area — guests have to park along the road at their own risk. On the positive side, the sand is fine and the water is clear, which makes swimming enjoyable. There’s running water for bathing, though the comfort room could be cleaner.
Overall, Mosboron Beach is a nice spot for a quick swim and simple outing, but it could be much better with improved maintenance, clearer signages, and more...

ENTRANCE FEE: Php30 - Adults Php20 - Senior Citizen / Kids Cottage - Php 750 Water for rinsing(banlaw) - Php20 per bucket Vehicle Parking - Php 40
From main road, downhill slope to reach the resort (no stairs). You can go down by foot or a motorcycle only. 4-wheeled vehicle will be parked on the main road. Less than 10 minutes to walk down the resort. The road down the resort might tend to be slippery especially if its raining or just rained.
The beach is a beige-like color. Not fine sand though. Also, not well maintained. No staff that cleans regularly. When we visited the resort we just saw the staff when we paid the entrance fee and before we left. So no personnel were assigned to clean the shore. We were just 2nd group of guests that arrived but there were still trash on the shore that looks like trash from last days' guests.
The resort have yet to provide their own water source for rinsing as they still get the water from Misibis Resort. A pail of water costs 20php so you have to save your water.
No sari-sari store. Bring your own food, drinks, and potable water.
Would still go back here 'cause it's way cheaper than Misibis Resort but I hope next time they have their own water...
Read moreI would recommend not to stay overnight. We just went there on Friday evening. The staff collecting fees was very rude. Poor customer service, facilities, and accommodations. No videoke, everything was overpriced. It's okay to spend money if the place is nice, but the cottage was subpar. They poorly received guests. The woman collecting fees even said, "It's your choice if you want to stay here." The vibes from the staff were unwelcoming. We came all the way from Sorsogon and were expecting a regular resort, but we were extremely disappointed. It was a very bad experience. The manager was very argumentative.
And they don't have rooms. They were very vague when I inquired; they said you can stay overnight in the cottage, which was basically a 4-posted hut with a sand floor. It seemed like they let us assume there were rooms in the cottage, but there weren't any. If you don't want to be bitten by mosquitoes, they suggest you rent their tent, which was extremely overpriced at 300 pesos for a tiny, child-sized tent. The tent was also oily. It was a truly...
