Vanishing Island — Attraction in Bacacay

It was a perfect place to visit... with its perfect view of Mt. Mayon from Legazpi City to Bacacay Albay. We took a boat ride going to Vanishing Island, while enjoying the ride we perfectly viewed the beauty of Mayon. Upon appoaching to the island we were amaze of crystal clear water and white sands. It has a floating cottages available for rent. We stayed in one of the cottages, I suggest you bring your own food and have picnic on the floating cottage. You will enjoy swimming, snorkeling around the floating cottage.

Vanishing Island is an elongated flat sand bar with golden sand. It gets exposed only during the low tide, but no worries, there are floating cottages for rent where you can safely leave your belongings and provisions while you go skin diving or just simply for a swim. The waters surrounding the islet is clean and clear (hope it stays that way for a long time). Just remember not to litter or carelessly throw your trash in the sea. The very good timing on visiting this Vanishing Island is early morning, to soak the body in warm sea water. Experience to swim, to dive the lovely crystal clear water.
