Beautiful and Serene! Balanga Wetland and Nature Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers. The park offers breathtaking views, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle, with well-maintained trails perfect for a leisurely walk or bird watching. The variety of bird species is impressive, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts. The facilities are clean, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local wildlife. A must-visit if you’re in the area and looking to connect with nature!

It's good that it exists, but it looks like it is suffering from that age old problem- It was a great idea when proposed, but no one thought much about future maintenance and upkeep. The facilities are somewhat rundown. (01/2023) There is more trash in the mangrove area than can be explained by natural in-wash, overgrowth blocking the viewing platforms, steps a bit dangerously falling apart, etc. Perhaps at the right time of day and right migration season, this area could be something special. But right now, it's just a place to get out of the city for a short while. Oh, and of course the "foreigner pricing" for entry doesn't help it's reputation. 10 pesos for locals and 50 pesos for foreigners. No, it's still not much, but really?

it would be great if all provinces had an area similar to what balanga bataan has, it would be awesome if there were organisations like young bean were also active in caring for the environment, i really hope they can get more support from other organisations to help them with their cause. this place is well maintained, and it is a good place to go to if you're a nature lover. the sunrise and sunset is also spectacular from here. find time to contribute in helping to save the environment or help it heal in that sense, it doesn't have to be in this kind of place, you can start at your homes and your community.

A magnificent place for bird watching.. Thumbs up to the local govt.of Bataan for improving the place & constructing a cemented walkway & observatory posts.. Unfortunately there are some garbage left behind or maybe awash from ashore...during my visit at the end of the walkway there is a videoke noise likely coming from a resto or a household.. local govt should regulate this & regular clean up should be implemented.. still a thumbs up for improving & maintaining this place...

You can hear the different bird sounds in the mangrove trail. Bird watchers must really enjoy this place. I am not a bird watcher but this place made me want to buy binoculars and try to identify the different birds I saw there. The local tourism officer said that the birds fly out of the mangrove early morning and fly in in the early afternoon.
