Tanato River Park — Attraction in Balanga

Tanato River park is a good place to go for cyclists. The road is somewhat challenging as the gradient is around 15% on some parts. A steep downhill is also challenging near the river.

Unfortunately, the river bank is already littered with garbage. I hope to go back here sometime soon just to clean.

Regarding water sources, I don't think the water is potable since there is a community living upstream of the river but I think you can take a dip in its clear water.

Bataan heartland near the river park was where we celebrated my hubby's birthday. And i was really happy that we were able to spend a quiet and serene weekend in that place..hopefully we could go back with the kids. That place is like heaven on earth..these pictures can never justify the beauty of Bataan heartland but at least people may have an idea of how stunning...
