We came from Sogod, Southern Leyte and it's a 1 hour drive to get there at Sea of Clouds, Baybay, Leyte.. So from Sogod we drove our way to Mahaplag, Leyte then a few kilometers away we arrived at the destination. If you brought your cars, a parking lot is provided but you must walk or ride a motorcycle or a horse (which is available also at the entrance/parking lot..Madam dun) to get to the top.. but if I were you, take a walk enjoy the breeze and you get to exercise for a bit. So we arrived at the top but unfortunately, it's not 'THAT' season where we see the "Sea of Clouds" .. the weather was not that good (look at the video and pics) ..so must check the weather first before going.. if you're hungry from hiking and exploring the view don't worry because there are different food stalls/restau you can dine. We were not able to see the clouds, only sea of fog 😀, though the view is nice and natural. That's the positive side 👍. However, the place was so so crowded that the excitement of being in the place, to see nature, to think, relax, enjoy the nice view, take photos cannot be felt anymore as you see people everywhere, from every food stall, down the hill and there are no even empty spaces. People are everywhere, lots of vehicles. You cannot enjoy the tranquility of the place because of noises. I hope next time they will limit the number of people...
