So I'll start this with I wouldn't bother making the trip all the way to Danao for this adventure park. I've done various zip lines and adventurous activities across the world and never had an issue. I came here mainly to do the zip line and plunge, I accidentally arrived at the lunch break (12-1) so I had to wait which was fair enough, but I waited to nearly 2pm till the workers bothered to arrive back at the activity posts. A few Filipinos' walk up as the guys were arriving back at the zip line, bare in mind I'd waited nearly 2 hours, and they completely ignored me and served the Filipino people and I was like "I've been waiting here" to which they completely ignored so I just left and went over to the plunge, to which I had to wait even more time for the guys running this activity to arrive back, again the filipino people arrived after me got served before me, during this time all the workers were obnoxiously all talking, laughing and looking at me. Maybe they got a kick out of making a girl by herself feel uncomfortable? Weird behaviour. Then after the filipino people finished I asked "Can I do it?" To which all the guys started looking at each other and one was like "you're too heavy" and they all start laughing. I left crying and just went to ask for my entrance fee back since my whole day was wasted and ruined. I was so excited to come to this place and from my experience, I wouldn't recommend at all. Upon staying locally, and speaking to local people they said the adventure park would hopefully bring more tourism to the area but I very highly doubt that when they treat people the way they do. I'd suggest going elsewhere to do...

Danao Adventure Park in Bohol is truly one of the highlights of our trip! Nestled in the middle of beautiful mountain scenery, it’s the perfect mix of adrenaline and natural beauty. The views of the river and surrounding forest are breathtaking — you really feel close to nature here.
We tried several activities and each one was a unique experience!
The Hamster Walk was surprisingly fun — it tests your balance and focus while walking inside a giant spinning wheel high above the ground. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, but very safe with the harness and guides assisting.
The Cable Ride gave us an amazing panoramic view of the cliffs and river — relaxing and thrilling at the same time!
Of course, the Suislide (zipline) was a total rush. Flying across the gorge with the wind in your face was unforgettable.
The staff were all friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and welcome. The place is clean, organized, and well-run. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just want to try something new in a beautiful setting, Danao Adventure Park has something for you.
Highly recommend adding this to your Bohol itinerary. It’s worth the drive and the memories...
Read moreWe rented a car and drove to Danao Adventure Park, and it was worth it!! The drive was very easy and scenic, you could stop by many places to enjoy the amazing island (particularly the Chocolate Hills).
We were prepared to pay premium for the amazing activities here, but to our surprise they were actually inexpensive but well maintained.
The activity operators did a great job in assuring us and ensuring that we are safe, and we regret not bringing cash to tip them when we were there. They only get paid minimal by the municipality, and most are volunteers (just like firefighters). They are very passionate about their profession and our fear disappeared with their caring and professionalism.
My girlfriend took the Plunge and ofcourse I also needed to show that I could do it; and it was soooooo awesome!!
Don't miss this perhaps once-in-a-lifetime experience when you are there, and don't hesitate to take the Plunge. You will feel like you could conquer the world once you've done it!!
We're not fearless adventurers, the line does use two-cable system; the main cable is a steel-cable used on bridges and the backup cable is a thick rope used on...
