Zoocolate Thrills Theme Park — Attraction in Bohol

We left the 'zoo' feeling sick in the stomach. From the moment we entered and saw the first tiger in a tiny cage almost no bigger than itself I knew it was going to be bad. When asked if it had a place to roam, our guide said they were in the process of building a connecting door to the 'open' space at the back of the cage but having read the reviews it seems the tiger has been kept in that cage for years now. The other tiger had a bigger cage and access to this so-called open space, which, save for one scratching/climbing?? pole, was sparse: the ground was made of gravel or concrete and there was no vegetation at all. The crocodiles were slightly better off (only just) while the python had to put up with visitors handling it (guilty) when all it wanted was to be left in peace. The smaller animals, especially the rabbits, were in worse condition: they looked starved with patches of fur falling off. The owls and eagles were also kept in tiny cages, unable to fly. This place should be shut immediately and the animals released or taken to sanctuaries where they can be properly...

I had the most amazing time at Zoocolate Thrills Theme Park!

It was so much fun. I went with a few friends, and we all had a great time. We got to ride the rollercoaster and other rides, play games, and eat some delicious food. It was a blast!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, too. They'll answer any questions you have about anything related to the park. The whole place is clean and well-maintained—you can tell they take pride in their work!

If you love animals, don’t go!!! Out of coincidence we stopped there for the crocodiles. After entering we saw tigers walking around nervously in small cages. The tiger in the first cage was more dead than alive and in terrible, terrible condition. „He‘s only sleeping.“ I cried and had to leave the place immediately before seeing any other animals suffer.
