Ariel's Point is at Mainland, at a Caticlan Cliff. The journey there is very long and involved many modes of transport. It took 1.5 hours from Boracay Beach Club (Station 1). We met at 10am, set of 10.15am, reached at 11+am. 1st we took a Trike to Port (15mins), took Boat to mainland (10mins), took a Van through a long winding road to a point-halfway we stopped to collect ice (40mins) where we finally took another Boat (10mins) to the cliff. Estimated time exclude waiting times. Started with snacks first at arrival (keropok was served), followed by Cliff Diving, before lunch. After lunch, we did Snorkeling, SUP, Canoeing. After that it was to change to dry clothes and just chill with a beer until it was time to leave at 3.45pm. The Trike will drop u off at your hotel at 5.30pm. Noted that it is at the sea and the waters are quite choppy and not calm. So SUP is more wobbly than doing it at the calm waters of White Beach. I got stung by Jellyfish while swimming to the floating platform to do the water activities. Luckily it was not serious. It felt very prickly like hundreds of fine needles poking you. I also had a few cuts on my leg, not sure how that happened, but you got to be careful while climbing the ladder. I thought of cliff diving the 8m again but the cuts and blood from my legs prevented me from doing so in case it attract sharks! We saw a few blue Starfishes during snorkeling but not much fishes. Canoeing is quite interesting by the cliff. Of course the main attraction was the cliff diving. It is best to start with 3m and build up to 4m, 5m, 8m, and 15m if your body can take the impact and of course if you have the guts. I wanted to try the 15m but stopped at 8m as I felt some pain in my right ear after entering the water. It was an old sensitive ear issue. Last time I did the 10m or 12m at Magic Island twice but I was 12 years younger and had no ear issues! Try it while u are still young! It is the best feeling to cliff dive!
Ticket purchase is quite troublesome. We had to go Boracay Beach Club meet Ruby and place our deposit. She organises trips there with minimum 10pax, on Wed, Fri and Sat. So plan your itinerary there only on these days. It cost 2900 per pax and deposit is 1000. But note that it was a 6 people team behind the scene to make the...
Read moreGreat party cruise. If you don't like loud music it's probably going to annoy you a little bit other than that just an all round awesome day.
It's about a 30 minute cruise on the boat to the point during which loud music is pumping and you can have beers or cheap spirits served to you.
Once you get there you head up and find a table. Be prepared to share some tables and meet some other people.
There are jumping boards at 5, 8 and 15 meters but they don't tell you that if you walk down the stairs there are two lower ledges that you can safely jump from as well. The have people out the front in kayaks for if anyone gets into any trouble.
On the return trip they stop serving beers and try to handout heavy cheap rums and pump up the tunes.
It's a great day. If you don't like loud music try and sit out the front of the...
Read moreThe entire adventure was planned perfectly. Starting off at ariel's house where you are provided with free simple snacks and drinks. Then after a brief safety briefing it's off to Ariel's Point. As soon as you get there you're free to test your courage and jump off one of several cliff heights ranging from 5 - 18 meters. Soft drinks, beer, and rum & comes are bottomless the entire time, and the lunch they serve is worth the price of the excursion alone. After lunch you're free to cliff jump some more or swim out to the floating platform and either snorkel, paddle board, or kayak. The boat ride back is nothing short of a booze cruise as a never ending bottle of rum is passed around in a high energy game of...
