Been here last Sunday (February 16, 2014). I love it... white sand, clear-clean water, small and big star fishes were just around the corner... My kids loved the shore so much... and I love the view... Likes- white beach, star fish big and small, water is so clear and clean, good for backpackers and nature lovers, very untouched... Dislikes- shower room were so small and not kept as well as the toilet- they should add more of these on the other portion of the area like make an open air shower, not good for comfort overnight sleep since you have to sleep in a tent no cottages nor rooms, tall grasses were left uncut so if you were looking where to put up your tent you still have to cut those grasses, lastly they have to add more security roaming around the area...

Went here summer of 2016. At the time, it was still a "virgin" beach. No accomodations, you have to bring your own tent, cooking utensils etc. Although, there's a place you can take a bath after magtalimpasaw sa perpetually low tide na dagat. (I wouldn't recommend going without a companion kasi tagpi-tagping shower room siya) We went during a bad time because the sea is literally low tide the whole day you can't do any swimming. Since we DIYed everything, it was quite stressful. The best part of the experience is the island hopping where local guides will charge you 100php (?) to visit 3 mini islands via their banka complete with life jackets. Best part is the starfish island

Brings back beautiful memories. Burot Beach will take you remotely to a paradise, if you are not choosy. No bathrooms, no rooms. Beach life. Island life. It was a really good experience. Been here twice. And I wonder how beautiful it is by now. Clean water. Jellyfishes. Starfishes.

I recently camped at Burot Beach in Calatagan, and while it's far from a resort, it offers a raw, peaceful beach escape that's hard to find elsewhere. The shoreline is wide and gentle, beach sand is beige with rocky patches and coral, and the water stays shallow even at high tide ideal for lounging or wading. No electricity or resorts here just tents, nature, and the sea breeze. Bring your own food, sunscreen, and camping gear, though you can rent a tent and grab firewood onsite. Expect basic bathrooms and slow water taps, so come prepared. Crowds pick up on weekends, so weekdays feel more serene. Most visitors agree it’s best suited for people who don’t mind minimalist beach camping and want a quiet,...
