The boat ride / island hoping is recommended. Note that there are no sand on the shore line. Don't forget to bring swim shoes if you dont want to walk on their sea bed full of rocks with sharp edges. The volleyball court is good, u just need to rent a volleyball for 300 pesos. The rooms are fine with one bathroom/cr. The shower head is only a faucet. The room they offer for 7pax only has 2 queen size bed that's why one of us had to sleep on the wooden sofa. Extra mattress has extra fee(₱300) Its raining when we got there thats why there's a POWER OUTAGE the whole night They've got a generator but only for lights and efan. The air-conditioned room is useless. The whole accommodation was just fine because of the hidden charges. If you avail a room only and they offer you cottage the time u arrive, ask first if it is included to the package. We paid extra ₱1k for the cottage although we ain't...
Read moreThe place is a three hour ride from Pasay City. After you ride a van from Pasay Rotonda with a route to Calatagan you will have to ride a tricycle from Lucsuhin Plaza to Brgy. Hukay and would cost about 200 per tricycle with a maximum of 4-5 persons. Just tell the driver that you would like to go to Velasco's Residence and they would know and expect a bit of a bumpy ride. Tip: you may bring with you food stuffs and charcoals if you would like to grill cause they have grilling stations there. The place was relaxing and stress relieving. It is a new place so expect for some minor constructions taking place but would not really spoil your holiday. I would really recommend this place to all my friends and to all the people that would like to experience a simple holiday but would leave you relaxed. I would definitely return...
Read moreThe place is nice and cozy. Although, there was a bit of rough road going to the place. I can imagine it would be quite difficult when it rains.
Also, the room we got were clean and spacious. The CR was clean although you would need to squat on the toilet when using it. Another thing is that there is not bidet, so you would need to use the pail and tabo when doing no. 2.
Keep in mind that they are using deep-well water so expect it to have a rustic smell even though it is clean. However, I wouldn't drink it. Thankfully, you can buy drinking water from them should you run out. Also, there was a time when they had no water coming out of the faucet in the morning when we stayed. Although, it didn't last long since I didn't notice when...
